Job Description:
Our client, a leading vendor of Cloud-based Applications, Communications and Infrastructure headquartered in Northern Virgina is building a team of Sales Account Managers to sell its service offerings to Enterprises, SMBs and Government agencies. This position is located at the firm's Northern Virginia office. The firm has grown through alliances with many of the leading data center and desktop infrastructure management, security, storage, networking and applications vendors. There are two tiers to the inside sales team Sales Account Manager: Base 65-70K, 150-160K On Target Earnings Responsibilities: Lead Generation: this is a calling position. Work with technology vendor partners channel organizations to build pipeline of opportunities, proposals and licensing opportunities. Manage incoming leads from web inquiries, trade shows, direct marketing, inbound marketing efforts as well as customer/ prospect evaluations Proactively engage with existing customers, and channel partners. Continue to cross sell and upsell opportunities for firms products. Follow through with customers and partners post-sale to ensure customer satisfaction, full deployment and ROI. Work closely with firms deployment teams. Maximize revenue potential in assigned key accounts for our clients products and solutions. Maintain accurate and timely data of pipeline, forecast and closed opportunities. Education, Experience and Skills Requirements Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience in direct or channel sales of IT services. The candidate must have 2-4 years sales experience and a successful track record of selling IT, products and services (VoIP, conferencing, exchange, sharepoint, mobile data, data center and desktop infrastructure management, security, storage, networking and applications# Excellent sales, inside sales, telesales, blended #inbound & outbound) sales call center, and account management skills and a proven track record of lead generation, account management and sales performance. Strong cold-calling, prospecting, qualification, discovery and closing skills. 2-3 years as direct sales individual to CIO, CISO, CTO, VP-IT, Directors and Managers responsible for enterprise IT infrastructure services. Direct experience working with leading technology vendors, such as Avaya, cisco, Juniper, EMC, Symantec, etc, 2-3 years of consistent quota overachievement of individual and team sales objectives. 2-3 years experience in a structured sales environment with a high degree of personal accountability. Strong reporting skills: pipeline, activity, focus on metrics. Excellent written and oral communications skills. Highly proficient in creating and delivering presentations to technical and non-technical business unit management. Excellent contract and pricing negotiating skills. Some training in Structured sales methodologies, such as Solutions Selling, TAS, SPIN Selling, Miller-Heiman or similar, is suggested.df-mn
