Job Description: Position Title:Sales Account Executive (E3A) Location: South San Francisco, CA Pay /Grade:50K - 70K DOE Position Description: Our Northwest Region Sales Development Center has an excellent opportunity available for Sales Account Executives. We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, energetic, team player who can also work independently in our fast-paced work environment. Candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills, a positive and tenacious attitude, and the ability to multi-task and handle quickly changing priorities. The position will report to Senior Manager of the Northwest Region Sales Development Center. Duties: Responsible for new business development in logistics: air, ocean, brokerage, domestic transportation, warehousing/distribution. Expected to make between 10-15 direct customer sales calls per week Responsible for managing a customer list of 30-35 potential target accounts Create and cultivate targets by market research, business intelligence, including but not limited to cold calls and participating in corporate sales campaigns. Responsible for developing strong client relationships with focus on immediate and long-term business opportunities Work closely with CS/Operational staff on account set-up, business implementation, A/R management and overall account support. Assigned to quarterly and/or annual revenue targets and responsible to update their revenue report on a weekly basis. Revenue and profit responsibility for each account. Essential Job Qualifications: Proficiency with NEU Prospect Management System Must be a team player Must have excellent English (written / verbal) communication and presentation skills Strong work ethic and ability to focus on results and new business generation Ability to work autonomously and efficiently manage a dynamic sales territory and account base Ability to quickly assess customer needs and present pro-active solutions Strong time management skills - setting appointments, territory management, meeting preparation/follow-up etc. Computer proficiency (Windows, MS Word, Excel, and Power Point). Efficient to work in a fast paced environment. Competence to multi-task and problem solve Must have the ability to adapt & initiate change on job function ("KAIZEN"). Sales Activity Expectations Established Annual Revenue Target Weekly Sales Expectations - active sales 4 days per week (10-15 calls per week) Update Prospect Management Account list on a weekly basis New Business reported and maintained on a monthly basis Attend and report sales activity on a weekly basis via direct meeting or conference call We are an equal employment opportunity employer.df-mn
